When my mother passed away at home, I remember how relieved I was when Tom Cooney arrived. He was so empathetic and kind. He calmed all of our fears. He answered all of our questions patiently. My brother is disabled and he was so respectful to his needs. The Cooneys treat everyone as they are family.
My husband was "cared for" at this funeral home against my best intuition. There were problems at his viewing and the funeral home did not only fail to deliver his remains for the short viewing before the service, but forgot the flowers and had to go back for them . They did so without delivering his remains to the church first. . At the cemetery they neglected to inform the gravediggers not to begin lowering the casket into the ground while family was still present. They just added to the nightmare I was experiencing.
